CK Lee

Vice President, Sports Business

Lee Choong Khay or better known as CK, is the Vice President of Sports Business for Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd, a leading content and consumer group in Asean. CK joined Astro in 1997 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry. He was instrumental in developing Astro SuperSport, which has become one of the top sports channels in Malaysia and the region, as well as launching the first 24-hour sports channel in Malaysia, Astro Arena, whose comprehensive coverage has raised the profile of many Malaysian sports and athletes.

Over the years, Astro has brought prime sport franchises like the FIFA World Cup, UEFA EURO, Premier League, Olympics, F1, Thomas Cup, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games to Malaysian sports fans. Following the latest trend of eSports, Astro launched a dedicated eSports channel, eGG Network on Astro TV, AOTG and Tribe in June 2016.

As APAC Head of Business Development, Media and Entertainment, at AWS, Shweta works closely with media organisations on their strategy to leverage cloud for their most critical workloads. Having worked in media industry for two decades in leadership roles across technology and new business initiatives, Shweta has a deep understanding of the challenges as well as the innovation which the industry thrives on.


Michael D’Oliveiro

Commercial Director, OTT APAC

Michael has over 20 years of experience in APAC and Australia in broadcast and OTT. Starting with the client-side, he has taken on content operations and senior VOD/OTT product management roles in companies like Media Prima and Astro (in Malaysia), before moving to Aussie-telco Telstra to manage its international B2B media portfolio. Michael later joined Singtel, where he served as HOOQ Singapore’s Country Head, managing strategic partnerships and P&L responsibilities. He blends his frontline customer insights with a passion for account management and new business development in the region. A published author, he also enjoys writing, researching and speaking about trends in OTT, particularly in Asia. His sports passion includes the 3As: Arsenal, AC Milan and Aussie Rules football.

Kevin Sim

Head of APAC

Kevin Sim was appointed as the Head of Asia Pacific for Bundesliga International in February 2018. In his role, Kevin will focus on developing Bundesliga’s strategy for Asia with the goal of maximizing Bundesliga’s presence in the region, and driving reach and engagement for Germany’s professional soccer league. Kevin Sim was previously Director of Global Media Rights at mixed martial arts promoter, ONE Championship.

Les Wigan

Les Wigan is the founding Chief Operating Officer of Kayo Sports.   He has accountability for Product and Content, Technology, Streaming Operations, eCommerce and Customer Care, as well as Data and Insights.

Previously, Les was a Director at Fox Sports where he had accountability for Digital, Technology, Broadcast Operations, and The Sports Statistics Business.  Prior to this he held the role of Director of Digital and Commercial Development at News Ltd, where he was responsible for managing news’ digital businesses across the group.  Before joining News Ltd Australia in 2006, Les held a number of roles at British Pay TV operator BSkyB.

RugbyPass is the premier online destination for global rugby fans, offering a live streaming rugby service that now extends to 35+ territories, including Asia, Australia and Europe, along with a wide array of original rugby programming, available globally through its RugbyPass TV OTT service. As Chief Strategy Officer, Richard is responsible for the global business strategy and commercial success of RugbyPass’ OTT subscription platform, along with the development of a network of rugby fan sites, social media channels and original written and video content. Richard’s 14+ years in digital marketing and online video has also included stints at Publicis, Google, YouTube and Rightster.

An awarding winning sports digital agency and technology group.  Since acquiring Mailman in 2007, then an outdoor media business, Andrew has since transformed the business to become the world’s leading sports digital agency with offices in China, UK and the USA.

Anurag Dahiya

Head of Content & Ad Sales

Anurag Dahiya is Singtel TV’s head of cntent and advertising sales. Anurag is responsible for video content strategy and operations at Singtel for its IPTV and OTT platforms which include Singtel TV, Singtel TV Go and the OTT video marketplace, Cast. Singtel TV content operations encompass acquisitions, content aggregation, original productions and co-productions. Amongst the channels Singtel produces, its Hokkien-Mandarin general entertainment channel, Jia Le is the top rated Singaporean pay TV channel.

Dahiya also runs Singtel Media, Singtel’s integrated Advertising Sales business that represents all Singtel media assets in Singapore, including Singtel TV, mobile messaging, Singtel’s digital mobile offerings such as HungryGoWhere, NewsLoop, AMPed and inSing as well as traditional media such as bill inserts, envelopes and OOH media.

Lance Peatey

General Manager, SEA

Lance has spent more than two decades with various international media companies across Australia, the UK and Singapore. Starting in children’s television, he moved to sport ahead of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games with Seven Network Australia, before moving to the UK for stints with IMG Media and the BBC. He then returned to Australia to lead digital sport at the Nine Network before joining ESPN to lead product, sales and editorial for Australia/New Zealand, and he is now General Manager of ESPN for Southeast Asia. Lance is also a published author, having written a book on the history of the Rugby World Cup.

Sheila Rasu

Vice President, Marketing

As Vice President, Marketing & Communications, NBA Asia, Sheila Rasu is responsible for the overall marketing, public relations and social media efforts for the NBA across Asia-Pacific.

Rasu has more than 18 years of experience in public relations and marketing.  Prior to joining NBA Asia in May 2011, Rasu served as Senior Vice President of Fleishman-Hillard in Singapore, where she oversaw its consumer and healthcare practice and spearheaded various large-scale regional campaigns.  Prior to that, Rasu held positions with Fulford PR and Mission Hills Group.

Throughout her career, Rasu has received a variety of professional distinctions including being named to Marketing Magazine’s ‘Rising Personalities under 35’ list, Top 50 Asia Women Leaders and earning Marketing Magazine’s ‘2010 Digital Campaign of the year award’.

Rasu earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Southern California. She resides in Hong Kong with her husband Kenny and two rescue dogs.
